Senior🎓
Top SchoolJonathan Galloway is a Principal Technical Artist with 30+ years of AAA game experience who builds the tools, pipelines, and rendering systems that let artists scale and engineers ship on time. He blends hands‑on expertise in HLSL, Python tooling (PySide6, NumPy, async), and procedural world systems with product-minded leadership across engines like O3DE, Lumberyard/Atom, and multiple console platforms. Known for rescuing studios stuck on content scale, performance, or complex toolchains, he’s led initiatives at Bluepoint, AWS, and Sony and shipped on high‑profile titles including Uncharted remasters and Titanfall. Comfortable oscillating between code, shader work, and strategic ownership, he’s a self‑taught engineering autodidact who intentionally refuses to fit a single mold. Based in Texas, he pairs SAFe-certified product discipline with a polymath’s curiosity to turn cross‑discipline breadth into practical systems artists actually enjoy using.
