Top SchoolJonathan Glassman is a senior technical writer with nine years of experience crafting clear, developer-focused documentation for complex platforms, currently shaping docs at GitLab from London. He has a strong track record at Government Digital Service leading docs-as-code initiatives, building API client documentation across six languages, and driving template adoption across major UK departments. Jonathan pairs user research with close collaboration with engineers to prioritise backlogs, close information gaps, and simplify onboarding—often delivering under tight deadlines and constrained resources. He brings regulatory and process-visualisation experience from roles at Visa and Direct Line Group, turning dense rules and models into accessible guides and process maps. Colleagues rely on him for mentoring, recruitment, and lifting team practices, and he uniquely balances product-focused documentation with stakeholder and accessibility obligations.
