Top SchoolJonathan Harijanto is a Senior Security Engineer with 11 years of hands-on experience securing cloud and autonomous systems, currently at Coinbase after a multi-year security tenure at Cruise. He specializes in cloud and endpoint security, vulnerability management, and offensive security techniques—skills honed through roles implementing NGAV integrations, malware investigation, and infrastructure hardening. Jonathan holds an MS in Computer Science from UC Irvine and began his research and tooling work as an undergraduate, building developer tooling like an Android Studio plugin for permission upgrades. He combines practical red-team experience with production-focused controls, routinely translating proof-of-concept exploits into durable mitigations. Based in San Francisco, he brings a balance of academic rigor and product-driven security engineering to high-risk, regulated environments. A detail that often surprises colleagues: he moves fluidly between building developer tools and executing deep technical investigations, bridging developer productivity and incident response.
