Top SchoolJonathan Harrison is a Senior Software Engineer with a decade of experience building and modernising web platforms across travel, music, aviation, and cloud services, most recently at Command Alkon. He has led technical initiatives at Tripadvisor and Spotify—driving monolith decomposition, developer experience improvements, and major legacy cleanup that removed ~277k lines of code—while also defining squad-level technical north stars and RFC processes. Comfortable across frontend and backend stacks, Jonathan has shipped server-driven UI services, experimentation platform migrations, and onboarding systems that materially increased revenue and reduced developer friction. He routinely acts as incident commander and on-call engineer, pairing operational ownership with product-aligned architecture. A Masters of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Southampton, he leverages AI-assisted tooling like GitHub Copilot to boost productivity and code quality. Outside core delivery he maintains a technical blog and an active GitHub, reflecting a curiosity for practical engineering craft and continuous improvement.
