Top SchoolJonathan Hendrickson is an Embedded Software Engineer with 8 years of experience designing microcontroller firmware, IoT devices, and satellite software, currently building retail embedded systems for Amazon's Just Walk Out program. He has shipped safety-critical, high-performance, and low-memory applications across embedded Linux, Rust, C++, FreeRTOS, and device SDKs, and has operational experience maintaining in-flight satellites on the Amazon Kuiper team. Comfortable across hardware and software, he contributes to build tooling, CI/CD, SDKs, and autonomous agent development, and has a track record of moving open-source embedded projects forward. Jonathan combines rigorous academic training (BS in Computer Science and Software Engineering, 3.77 GPA) with practical full-stack cloud experience from personal projects—such as a Jekyll/Node.js/AWS-powered web app—and teaching roles that sharpen communication and mentoring. Colocated in Seattle, he brings a blend of production-grade engineering, operational discipline, and a habit of making private, company-independent contributions visible through his personal GitHub.
