Top SchoolJonathan Holt is a Principal Engineer with 11 years of experience building scalable, user-centric web platforms across energy and consumer services, currently leading Energy 2.0 at British Gas from London. He has a strong track record designing and operationalising design systems and developer tooling—most notably contributing to Nucleus.design—while bridging product, UX and DevOps disciplines. His career blends enterprise leadership roles at Centrica and British Gas with entrepreneurial experience as CTO and founder of Tubenav, where he reinvented a public-facing transit web app. Jonathan excels at turning complex domain problems into pragmatic, maintainable front-end architectures and platform capabilities that accelerate cross-team delivery. Colleagues describe him as a hands-on principal who mentors engineers, drives design-system adoption, and champions developer experience. He pairs a BA in Business Studies with a pragmatic engineering mindset that favours measurable customer outcomes over technical novelty.
