Summary
Jonathan Martin is a systems engineer with over 25 years of experience building and automating telecommunications and internet services, from the original SNET consumer Internet to AT&T’s global core network. He specializes in core and edge router configuration automation, distributed systems integration, and edge service deployment, with hands-on experience in microservices, container-based services, and front-end REST/Angular work. At AT&T he helped automate router changes across a global network and previously helped deliver dial-up, DSL and UVerse to more than 10 million customers. Now consulting in aerospace engine testing, he applies the same infrastructure automation and system-integration rigor to test support applications. Outside of professional work he runs a personal skunkworks—experimenting with home VoIP, media networks, and Android projects—so much of his experimental work lives in private repos.
