Top SchoolJonathan Perucca is a Staff Software Engineer based in Paris with 11 years of experience designing scalable, testable backend systems primarily in Java and Spring. He has grown through technical leadership roles at Malt—moving from Senior to Lead Dev and now Staff—where he focuses on architecture, CI/CD automation, and improving delivery pipelines. Jonathan has a strong track record building cloud-native systems on AWS, integrating message buses and search engines, and driving maintainability and performance improvements at scale. He also teaches software architecture and practical dev skills, translating classroom practices like TDD and CI into production-ready processes. Known for running technical workshops and reducing technical debt, he blends hands-on coding with mentorship and system-level thinking. Outside product teams he repeatedly champions testing culture and developer productivity, a less obvious throughline across his consulting and teaching engagements.
