Top SchoolJonathan Radon is a pragmatic Staff Software Engineer with 14 years of experience building scalable backend systems, developer tooling, and platform databases for companies like Toast and Braintree. He blends hands-on architecture and coding — particularly around Postgres and microservices — with empathetic team leadership that consistently speeds delivery and boosts team morale. Jonathan has driven large platform transitions (monolith to microservices, Kubernetes adoption) and introduced CI/CD, automated testing, and developer workflows that materially reduced toil. He favors clean, testable code and balances ideal engineering with business priorities to produce pragmatic, maintainable solutions. Based in Novi, Michigan, he takes particular pride in enabling others to move faster and be happier, and often dives into code to mentor or unblock teams.
