Jonathan Trang
Senior Frontend Developer
Summary
👤
SeniorJonathan Trang is a seasoned Front End Developer with 12 years of experience crafting performant, accessible React and TypeScript applications for startups and large products across Paris. He excels at modernizing codebases—migrating to strict TypeScript, introducing Redux Toolkit, Storybook and GraphQL codegen—and shipping user-facing features from real-time messaging to media upload flows. A fast, detail-oriented engineer and touch-typing enthusiast (138 WPM), he blends speed with thoughtful engineering: improving typesafety, reducing complexity with discriminated unions, and solving tricky cross-browser and z-index issues. As a frequent freelancer he has helped teams at Zenly, leboncoin, PhotoRoom and others, and won Angular Fight at VivaTech 2018. He also builds playful side projects like TypeFaster that reveal his focus on UX and competitive interaction design.
