Top SchoolJonathan Verbeek is a game programmer with 11 years of experience building gameplay systems, tools and full‑stack integrations across PC, VR and console ecosystems. Now at Croteam, he combines industry work with a strong indie background—he shipped multiple Unreal Engine Marketplace packs and spent four years developing a first‑person puzzle adventure featuring electricity, lasers and programmable robots. His roles range from gameplay and audio implementation to backend services (DRM, matchmaking, AWS) and tooling, reflecting a rare blend of engine-level coding and web/backend skills. Based in Bremen, he also experiments with Switch homebrew and small utilities, revealing a practical hacker spirit that fuels both product features and developer-facing plugins.
