SeniorJonathas Ribeiro is a Staff Software Architect with 15+ years of hands-on experience building and scaling production systems across fitness, video streaming, VoIP, e-commerce, finance, fashion, and hospitality. He blends deep multi-stack expertise (PHP, .NET, Java/Spring, Node.js, React, Angular, Ionic) with strong cloud and serverless architecture skills, having optimized architectures using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, ECS, and CI/CD with Terraform and GitHub Actions. Experienced as both an individual contributor and engineering leader, he has led teams, mentored engineers, managed hiring, and transitioned products from legacy stacks to maintainable, cost-efficient platforms. His track record includes delivering 30+ projects used in the USA, Brazil, and Europe and driving measurable operational improvements like offloading heavy work to queues and replacing third-party workflow tooling with Step Functions. Pragmatic and performance-focused, he thrives in fast-paced environments where architecture, automation, and developer experience intersect. Outside work he’s into clean code, home automation and fitness—a mix that informs his practical, improvement-oriented approach to engineering.
