Top SchoolJongun Chae is a back-end software engineer with 11 years of experience building high-traffic, global community systems for companies including Riot Games, NAVER, Coupang, and Dunamu. He specializes in Java-based web services, scalable architectures, and data pipelines, having implemented personalized feeds with Elasticsearch, live broadcasting chat with HBase and RabbitMQ, and large-scale migrations using Spring Batch. At NAVER he improved engagement metrics (60% view increase) through personalization and designed monetization and quest systems that tied UX to backend reward flows. His Riot tenure exposed him to handling massive real-time loads for global communities, and he continues to iterate on performance and reliability in fintech at 증권플러스 비상장. Curious about deep learning and the Hadoop ecosystem, he blends practical backend engineering with data-oriented thinking to solve product and scaling challenges.
