Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolJoni Kanerva is an operations and people leader with 19 years of hands-on engineering and product experience, currently directing operations for Reaktor’s Gaming & Entertainment unit in Helsinki. He blends technical fluency with talent strategy—having built Reaktor’s global TA model, competence-based hiring, and helped launch and scale Reaktor Lisbon from zero to 24 people. Joni has shipped high-traffic consumer services for clients like adidas and HBO, co-founded and scaled a product-led company, and still stays close to engineering despite no longer writing production code daily. Known for leading from the backlines, he focuses on delivery quality, career growth, and removing friction so teams can perform at their best. An underrated strength is his operational locksmithing: setting up legal, financial, and partner foundations that make rapid international growth possible.
