Top SchoolJonny Mccullagh is a Staff Platform Engineer with 12+ years building and operating large-scale Linux-based systems, from a single server as a developer to thousands of production nodes worldwide. He blends deep hands-on expertise in infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible) and observability (Datadog, Grafana, Graylog) with a developer-focused approach to platform tooling and CI/CD for high-volume trading and SaaS environments. A certified Linux professional and ethical hacker, Jonny has led DevOps teams and migrations—often turning legacy VM estates into cloud-native platforms—while shipping developer-facing tools using Python and React. He’s equally comfortable in system internals or web stacks (PHP/MySQL) and enjoys solving cross-discipline problems that combine systems, dev and design. Active in the regional tech community, he mentors the next generation and organizes conferences and meetups, bringing a curious, question-driven mindset honed since his web-design beginnings in 1996.
