Top SchoolJoost Van Doremalen is a full stack developer and product-focused engineer with 11 years of experience building web and speech-related solutions, currently working at Appjection and seconded via Freshheads. He combines deep academic expertise—a PhD in Speech Technology and master's in Language and Speech Technology—with hands-on leadership as a former CTO at NovoLearning, bridging research and practical product delivery. Comfortable across the stack, Joost brings a strength in turning complex language and AI problems into user-facing systems and pragmatic product features. Based in Amsterdam, he blends strategic digital strategy with day-to-day coding, and is known for sustaining long-term technical ownership across teams and projects.
