Top SchoolJoost Van Driel is a freelance web developer based in Breda with 11 years of experience building full-stack web applications using Vue, React, TypeScript and Node.js, often paired with PHP/Symfony backends. He specializes in pragmatic, test-driven development and clean code, having architected microservices and high-performance cloud systems such as a production job search engine and HR quality assurance tooling. Comfortable across the stack, he delivers both frontend UX and robust backend services, automating workflows and integrating third-party services for ecommerce and enterprise clients. As the founder of Soliddev.nl he blends client-facing freelance work with hands-on engineering, favoring small, composable services tuned for real-world traffic patterns. An understated strength is his ability to refactor legacy PHP systems into maintainable platforms while incrementally introducing modern JavaScript tooling.
