Senior🎓
Top SchoolJooyon Won is a software engineer with 9 years of experience building large-scale, highly available systems for consumer and infrastructure platforms across Apple and Amazon. At Amazon she has contributed to foundational platforms that handle trillions of transactions monthly and tens of millions per second per region, focusing on networking, efficiency, and platform abstractions that let internal teams move faster. Previously at Apple Pay she helped improve reliability and security for a payments platform used by hundreds of millions of users. Trained in Information Systems and software engineering (University of Cincinnati, Flatiron School), she blends systems-level rigor with product-minded problem solving. She values solving real human problems—big or small—and brings a habit of thoughtful, positive focus (often over a quiet morning coffee) to complex distributed-system challenges. Based in San Francisco, she pairs strong operational experience with a knack for simplifying infrastructure so builders can concentrate on impact.
