Top SchoolJordan Max is a Lead Software Engineer in Chicago with 11 years building serverless, event-driven microservices and API-first web applications, primarily using Node.js on AWS. He architects scalable systems and CI/CD pipelines that manage inter-service dependencies and priority-based deployments, and has driven large consumer-facing projects—most notably a receipt-validation service processing 2M+ uploads and a viral game reaching 600K users. Jordan has a proven track record migrating monoliths to serverless architectures, converting relational databases to DynamoDB, and implementing idempotent event pipelines for reliable integrations. He pairs hands-on engineering with cross-functional collaboration across product, CX, and marketing, often shaping customer-focused features from concept to production. A practical innovator, he also built reusable tooling like a private React UI kit and automation orbs to keep documentation and deployments in sync.
