Top SchoolJordan Terry is a Senior Android Developer with 11 years of experience who blends deep Kotlin expertise and modern architectures (MVVM/MVI, Jetpack Compose) with a rare specialization in build systems and Gradle tooling. Having driven platform-wide initiatives at companies like Marks & Spencer, The Guardian, and Twitter, he designs robust DI patterns (Dagger, Hilt, Anvil), advanced coroutines/Flow solutions for concurrency, and observability practices (SLIs/SLOs) that catch issues early. Now based in New York and working at Etsy, heโs known for creating convention plugins that eliminated thousands of lines of build code and for modernizing auth and modularisation in large codebases. Beyond shipping features, he thinks about developer experience and CI/CD observability as product-level concerns. An endurance athlete and private pilot in training, he brings the same discipline and systems-thinking to large-scale mobile engineering challenges.
