Senior🎓
Top SchoolJordyn Marcellus is a software engineer with 11 years of hands-on experience building product-focused web platforms, currently contributing to Pinterest from Toronto. They have a strong full-stack background—shipping Rails/Postgres features and React frontends at VTS and CrowdRiff, and designing Node.js/GraphQL backends at ecobee—focused on reducing time-to-value and automating error-prone workflows. Jordyn excels at turning manual processes into robust, well-tested automation (notably spreadsheet-based importers and SQL tooling integrations) and advocates for clear, actionable error messaging and documentation. They pair engineering with user empathy, creating training materials and collaborating closely with support and implementation teams to drive adoption. A "JavaScript therapist" and creative coder by inclination, Jordyn brings a mix of pragmatic engineering, strong communication, and a knack for translating messy real-world data into reliable systems.
