Top SchoolJorge Espinosa is an experienced mobile developer with 13 years building Android and iOS apps, currently focused on Android at Element in Almería, Spain. He has a strong track record shipping production features and stability fixes for the open-source Element Android Matrix client, including rich text editing, full‑screen editing, voice message bug fixes and test coverage. Jorge’s background spans embedded BLE systems, real‑time data visualization, and cross-platform mobile work, reflecting a blend of low‑level hardware integration and polished user-facing interfaces. He has repeatedly led refactors and performance improvements (notably translating and optimizing legacy iOS apps to Swift) and enjoys tackling tricky UX interactions like text selection and real‑time charts. Practical, detail-oriented, and comfortable in open-source collaboration, he brings both systems thinking and hands-on engineering to privacy-conscious, real-time communication projects.
