Jorge Fueyo
AWS Lead at Field AI
Gijón, Spain
Summary
🤩
RockstarJorge Fueyo is an AWS Lead with 11 years of hands-on experience building cloud-native infrastructure and production computer vision systems from Gijón, Spain. He has combined low-level C++ expertise in real-time and AR applications with DevOps ownership—designing AWS Batch and Step Functions orchestrations to process massive construction scan datasets. Jorge’s background spans startups and industrial settings, delivering AR apps, national factory vision systems, and scalable data pipelines, which gives him a rare blend of algorithmic depth and operational rigor. At Scaled Robotics he was the primary infrastructure engineer, translating novel CV algorithms into efficient, deployable workflows. Now leading AWS efforts at Field AI, he focuses on making advanced vision workloads reliable and cost-effective in production. Colleagues would describe him as a pragmatic engineer who moves between research-quality implementations and hardened cloud operations with equal fluency.
