Senior🎓
Top SchoolJose Aguinaga is a digital asset custody and cryptography executive with 14+ years building secure, regulated Web3 infrastructure across financial hubs including Zurich, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. He has co-founded and led custody platforms—most notably Tungsten Custody, the first sovereign-backed Abu Dhabi crypto custodian—and managed institutional-grade safekeeping under ADGM and FINMA regimes. Technically hands-on, Jose designs MPC and key-management architectures, governance controls, and DevOps for compliant custody and tokenization platforms while advising clients through his consultancy since 2016. He blends product and engineering leadership with regulatory engagement, having run digital custody services that managed billions in crypto assets. Now based in Dubai and leading solutions engineering at Dfns, he combines front-end and backend engineering roots with deep privacy and cryptography expertise. A pragmatic builder who moved from React/JS startups to enterprise-grade crypto custody, he’s as comfortable writing code as he is negotiating audit controls with regulators.
