Summary
👤
SeniorJose Aquino is a seasoned Software Engineer with two decades of experience delivering enterprise-grade applications across the Microsoft stack, from ASP.NET Core and C# to Angular, TypeScript and SQL Server. He has evolved from hands-on development to technical leadership roles—mentoring teams, running code reviews and shaping hiring processes at firms like IBM and Amaris—while still shipping pragmatic solutions at startups such as Pinewood.AI. Comfortable with both legacy systems (classic ASP, IE-era toolbars) and modern cloud and containerized architectures, he bridges maintenance and modernization work with equal ease. Based in the West Midlands, he brings a global consulting mindset from multinational engagements and a passion for code quality and continuous learning. A self-described "Señor .Net Developer," he pairs deep tooling knowledge with a knack for translating complex business needs into reliable, testable software.
