Top SchoolJose Benitez is a software engineer with nine years of experience who blends electronic and embedded systems knowledge with modern web and front-end development. Based in Rionegro, Colombia, he builds software for international clients while leading development of a drone-focused web platform that bridges IoT hardware with intuitive UIs. His background in electrical and electronics engineering informs pragmatic decisions around IoT, drones and sensor integration, and he contributes front-end improvements to notable open-source projects like Metaplex. Curious about AI/ML and emerging tech, he pairs hands-on UI work—wallet integration, layout and navigation enhancements—with system-level understanding from electronic design. Known on GitHub as a creative, “Bohemian Fool,” he brings a designer’s eye to UX challenges and a maker’s mindset to complex integration problems.
