Top SchoolJose Cantor is a multimedia-trained software engineer and educator based in Bogotá with six years of hands-on experience across full-stack, mobile, and DevOps domains. He currently teaches full-stack development—covering Git, JavaScript, React, Flask, databases and testing—at 4Geeks Academy while translating industry practices into classroom-ready projects. His background includes building government web apps with PHP, Angular and Django, mobile apps with Ionic, and low-level systems work in C from his Holberton School training. Jose has also worked as a technical recruiter, giving him a strong sense for hiring standards and practical skill assessment. He blends creative multimedia production (Unity, motion graphics, video mapping) with pragmatic engineering, making him adept at delivering user-facing interfaces that are both functional and engaging. Comfortable from bootstrapped apps to cloud deployments on AWS, he thrives at the intersection of design, teaching, and production-grade software delivery.
