Senior🎓
Top SchoolJosé Escobar is a pragmatic technology leader and CTO with 14 years of engineering experience and a decade-plus track record building high-performing, business-focused teams. He has scaled and transformed engineering organisations across Europe—creating remote-first teams, bringing operations in-house, and reducing costs while increasing throughput and deployment velocity. At Orbit he cut onboarding-to-offer time to two weeks, halved personnel costs, and drove a culture of DevOps with 10 weekly deployments and a 97% success rate; more recently he led engineering at GiG and now serves as CTO at Fluid. Comfortable both in the codebase and the C-suite, José blends hands-on full-stack roots (PHP, Java, frontend) with recruiting, legal entity setup, and KPI-driven product alignment. Based in Seville, he’s known for pragmatic processes—rotating roles, measurable OKRs, and rapid delivery—that turn engineering teams into reliable business engines.
