Top SchoolJose Genes is an electrical engineer and entrepreneur based in San Francisco who builds AI-driven, IoT-enabled commerce systems that reimagine retail as a network of autonomous points of purchase. As Founder and Director of AI at Intuitivo, he leads development of infrastructure for millions of autonomous retail nodes, applying transfer learning, data science, and embedded systems to fuse digital magic with physical shopping. He previously founded and served as CTO of Aratiri, delivering 3D printing, design, and IoT solutions, and has hands-on experience in digital manufacturing, smart buildings, and socially driven prosthetics projects. With six years of experience across startups and manufacturing, he combines systems-level engineering with product intuition and a bias for rapid prototyping. Not obvious from titles alone: he pairs deep hardware experience with model-driven AI deployment, enabling edge devices to act autonomously in real-world commerce.
