Top SchoolJose Herrera is a Senior Full Stack Engineer with 11 years of experience building scalable, production-grade web and IoT systems from Colombia. He combines hands-on frontend and backend skills—React, TypeScript, Nest/Express—and serverless architectures with practical DevOps experience in Kubernetes, GCP, Docker and CI/CD to rapidly ship reliable e-commerce and device-ingestion platforms. Jose has led teams and designed architectures that integrate complex third-party services (Shopify, EasyPost, CustomerIO) while improving test automation and quality practices throughout the delivery lifecycle. Comfortable working from low-level messaging patterns to user-facing UIs, he brings a pragmatic engineering mindset shaped by roles across testing, backend microservices and platform leadership. Outside work he’s an avid reader and media fan, a detail that often informs his clear, user-focused product decisions.
