Top SchoolJosé Lamas is a product-focused technology leader and educator with over three decades of experience in software engineering, product management and platform partnerships, primarily at GeneXus. He has led product strategy and go-to-market for cloud, server, testing and marketplace offerings while also running the partner program that nurtures complementary ecosystem companies. Based in Montevideo, he combines hands-on development roots from GeneXus R&D with strategic product leadership to drive adoption and commercialization of developer-facing platforms. As a professor teaching AI applications for business at Universidad ORT Uruguay, he translates practical product and technical experience into curriculum that bridges academia and industry. His background in both engineering and technological business management gives him a rare perspective on building sustainable product roadmaps that serve customers and partners alike. Colleagues note his long tenure at a single, influential product family where he evolved from senior developer to product and platform steward.
