Top SchoolJosé Maciel is a seasoned Software Engineering Specialist with 11+ years delivering front-end and full-stack products across startups and scale-ups, currently driving engineering at Magalu Cloud. He blends hands-on coding (React, Vue, Angular, Python, Django, Node) with product-minded leadership, having doubled startup incorporations and lifted NPS above 90 by improving operational flows and observability. At Viva Decora he scaled traffic from tens of thousands to millions monthly, optimized SEO and PageSpeed, cut AWS costs by 40%, and helped launch a marketplace generating significant recurring revenue. Known for building reusable component libraries, CI/CD pipelines, and onboarding processes, he elevates team velocity and code quality through design systems and testing. A long-time front-end enthusiast since 2001 and active GitHub contributor, he also creates developer tools (like automated SVG systems) that reduce friction for teams. He is pragmatic about UX and developer experience, and invests in mentoring colleagues to create sustainable engineering cultures.
