Top SchoolJosé Mendoza is a senior performance engineer with 11+ years of hands-on experience helping enterprises—from banks to e-commerce and airlines—make applications faster, more reliable, and cost-efficient. At Globant he designs performance strategies, builds custom testing frameworks and dashboards, and mentors teams in observability and CI/CD practices using tools like K6, JMeter, Grafana, Dynatrace and Kubernetes. A long-time open source advocate and self-taught polyglot, he blends scripting (JavaScript, Shell, Python, Ruby) and cloud expertise (GCP, AWS) with practical DevOps automation to solve complex production issues. His background includes full-cycle consulting and systems administration, giving him a rare perspective that spans pre-sales proposals through implementation and runbook-quality documentation. He’s an active community organizer and speaker who promotes GNU/Linux and free software at conferences and grassroots events, which reinforces his collaborative approach to knowledge-sharing. Comfortable in ambiguous, cross-disciplinary environments, he consistently turns performance insights into measurable business improvements.
