Senior🎓
Top SchoolJosé Monteiro is a frontend developer with nine years of hands-on experience building user-facing web applications for high-traffic products, currently contributing to Mercedes-Benz.io from Porto. He began his career full-stack—designing APIs, ElasticSearch mappings and PHP backends for platforms used by millions—before shifting focus to modern frontend engineering with React, TypeScript and micro-frontend architectures. At Farfetch he worked across multiple micro front-ends delivering A/B tests and UX features, and earlier rebuilt a public app store site with Angular and server-side rendering at Aptoide. Comfortable across the stack, he brings a pragmatic product-minded approach to frontend problems and an uncommon strength in bridging frontend code with backend search and caching systems.
