Top SchoolJosé Moreno is a partner and operator-investor who leads Private Equity, Venture Capital and search-fund investments with a hands-on focus on value creation, governance and applied analytics. He partners with first-time CEOs to build KPI-driven operating cadences, sharpen unit economics and support international expansion while serving on portfolio boards from acquisition through exit. A former corporate finance consultant and early-stage tech operator in Germany and Spain, he pairs engineering training (B.S. Electronic & Computer Engineering) with an MBA and advanced management studies from top schools to translate technical initiatives into commercial outcomes. José is also an active full-stack contributor to open-source projects—improving UX and tooling on community forks like PlayCover—which reflects a continued appetite for shipping product-level software. Equally comfortable pitching LPs as he is debugging a UI, he blends investor rigor with operator execution and a global, multilingual perspective. Outside work he channels curiosity into sailing, wine and modern art, signaling a taste for complex systems and design.
