Porto, Porto, Portugal
Summary
🤩
RockstarJose Neto is a seasoned FTTH and fiber-optic project manager with 14 years of experience leading large-scale network design, deployment and acceptance across Europe and Africa. He has driven end-to-end programs—from tendering and CAPEX/OPEX validation to civil works, splicing, OLT/CORE integration and handover—at operators and vendors including Axione and Huawei. Comfortable in start-up and operator environments, he builds and mentors multidisciplinary teams and quality processes to accelerate rollout and reduce rework. He’s repeatedly led national backbone and rural FTTH programs (multi-thousand km builds and hundreds of POPs), balancing technical rigor with pragmatic field experience. Known for developing practical construction standards and novel rural cabling concepts, he blends hands-on troubleshooting with strategic vendor and subcontractor management. Based in Porto, he brings a track record of turning complex network specs into operational, cost-controlled deployments.
