Top SchoolJosé Solé is a London-based type designer and design leader with a decade of experience crafting typographic systems and fonts for digital and print. As Partner and Design Lead at Dogray and Foundry Relations Manager at The Type Founders, he blends creative direction with hands-on font development, drawing on a ten-year tenure at Dalton Maag where he shipped production-grade typefaces. His background in graphic design and an early foundation in medicine inform a methodical, user-centered approach to type design and visual communication. José is comfortable negotiating the technicalities of font engineering while maintaining strong foundry and client relationships. He brings a rare combination of artistic sensibility and production discipline, often translating complex brand needs into elegant, usable type solutions.
