Top SchoolJose Viloria is a Data Engineer based in Amsterdam with 8 years of experience designing cloud-native, scalable data pipelines and backend systems. He has built end-to-end ETL/ELT flows and automated data ingestion into data warehouses using tools like Python, Airflow, dbt, PySpark and both SQL and NoSQL stores. His background includes backend development with Django/Flask and deploying resilient services on AWS, GCP, Heroku and DigitalOcean, complemented by CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices (Docker, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Terraform). Jose also brings data science chops—applying deep learning and neural networks to computer vision, forecasting and BI—which helps bridge model development and production data engineering. Currently at ING after roles at Workpath and AI Orchestrator, he combines freelance startup experience with enterprise-grade delivery. He’s a fan of automation and cloud infrastructure and often focuses on making data workflows observable, repeatable and cost-efficient.
