Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolJosef Šustáček is a senior Java developer with 14+ years of hands-on experience building and operating portal and web applications, specializing in Liferay, Gradle, CI/CD and AWS. He has driven developer infrastructure and automation at Liferay—creating backup import tooling, Docker images, CloudFormation stacks and CI pipelines—and has repeatedly bridged support, product and consulting roles to streamline operations. At ČSOB Pojišťovna and SAP he focused on Spring Boot services, OSGi modules and team-wide code quality through reviews and pipeline design. Certified in multiple Liferay releases and NetBeans, he combines deep platform knowledge with practical production tuning and performance analysis. Based in Tišnov, Czechia, Josef is as comfortable troubleshooting low-level portal issues as designing cloud-native deployment workflows, often delivering internal tools that save time across engineering and support teams.
