Senior🎓
Top SchoolJosema López is a Senior Data Scientist with 8 years of experience applying machine learning and computer vision to real-world problems, from satellite-based school mapping at UNICEF to consumer mobile apps with over 2 million downloads. He combines research-grade expertise—published computer vision and multimodal ML work from UPV—with hands-on engineering skills in deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Stack Edge) and real-time pipelines (DeepStream/GStreamer). As a technical lead at the United Nations he bridged stakeholders like Microsoft while improving model accuracy and operational efficiency, and he has a track record of turning prototypes into production systems. Notably, he reduced ML pipeline latency from hours to seconds for live video analytics and built end-to-end ML backends serving mobile apps, showing both product sense and systems-level optimization. Based in Valencia, he seeks to advance impactful, scalable AI solutions that translate research into operational tools.
