Senior🎓
Top SchoolJoseph Aje is a Senior Software Engineer based in Lisbon with eight years of experience delivering scalable, reliable systems across travel, healthcare, fintech, and SaaS. He excels at full-stack development and DevOps—architecting cloud-native solutions, leading teams, and owning infrastructure automation from Terraform to ECS and CI/CD pipelines. As a hands-on technical lead he has built MVPs that attracted venture funding, led frontend rewrites to TypeScript, and reduced operational costs and code surface through serverless redesigns. Currently at TUI, he applies this breadth to systems serving millions of yearly customers, while previously driving SRE practices and observability at Clipboard Health. Known for mentoring engineers and closing the gap between product and operations, he brings a pragmatic mix of product focus and infrastructure rigor. An uncommon strength: comfortably toggling between shipping product features and optimising cloud architecture to cut costs and delivery time.
