Top SchoolJoseph Arias is a Senior Software Developer specializing in AI and engineering at Deloitte with eight years of experience building full-stack, cloud-native applications for government and public sector clients. He has led large front-end modernizations—migrating legacy AngularJS apps to React with TypeScript—and applied OOP and SOLID principles to improve maintainability across systems that catalog tens of thousands of medical and surgical supplies. Comfortable across frontend and backend stacks, Joseph pairs practical API work and UI improvements with agile planning and cross-functional collaboration. He also brings hands-on teaching and mentoring experience from Flatiron School, which informs his clear code reviews and developer coaching style. Based in the Washington DC–Baltimore area, he combines public-sector domain knowledge with emerging AI/ML interests to deliver pragmatic, auditable solutions that balance technical debt and product needs.
