👤
SeniorJoseph Erickson is a senior software engineer with 12+ years of professional experience and a web development career stretching back to the late 1990s, who blends deep full-stack expertise with product and project leadership. He builds API- and GraphQL-driven systems in Ruby on Rails and modern React/Next stacks, and has architected SaaS platforms (RuskinARC, DowntownTX) that marry spatial data with practical workflows for historic preservation and municipal programs. Comfortable across languages and environments—from C++ shopping carts to PHP/Laravel, Java, and PostGIS—he focuses on shipping reliable, value-generating applications and smoothing operations through Linux administration and SQL tuning. Joseph also teaches and mentors (Tech Elevator), leads teams to deliver LMS and enterprise-grade systems, and brings an unexpected creative edge as an active improv performer, which informs his collaborative, adaptive approach to problem solving.
