Top SchoolJoseph Hill is a veteran software leader and co-founder with over a decade of experience building developer tools and developer communities, best known for co-founding Xamarin and helping grow it to a 350-person company acquired by Microsoft. He blends product management, developer relations, and operations—having launched MonoTouch/Mono for Android predecessors, led Visual Studio for Mac, and overseen PM teams that shipped Hot Reload and other fast feedback features for .NET developers. Skilled at partnering with enterprise vendors and negotiating licenses, he has driven commercial strategy, due diligence, and integrations across Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, and others. A longtime participant in the open source .NET ecosystem, he’s repeatedly turned technical projects into developer-focused products and programs (MVP, Insider, partner programs). Now based in Cambridge, MA, he’s returned to startup building as Co-Founder of XIbbon while retaining deep product-to-marketing execution chops. Less obvious: he personally staffed early support workflows and answered thousands of inbound developer tickets, giving him rare hands-on empathy for end users.
