Top SchoolJoseph Kokenge is a Senior Cloud Engineer in Austin with 12 years of experience modernizing enterprise systems and migrating large financial applications to cloud-native architectures. He has repeatedly delivered production-ready infrastructure—moving sensitive-data tooling and scanning platforms into AWS EKS with Terraform, tuning GitLab CI/CD, and debugging Kubernetes and App Mesh at scale for major US financial institutions. His background blends data journalism and engineering, giving him a knack for turning messy, regulated data problems into automated, auditable pipelines and POCs using AWS services such as Macie, Lambda, Glue and Athena. Colleagues rely on him to bridge architecture and implementation: he authors diagrams, builds reproducible test data generators, and drove rarely-achieved quick wins like pushing multiple BPM apps into production where others had struggled. Comfortable across Python, Java, Ruby and infrastructure-as-code, he brings pragmatic cloud obsession and a talent for making complex enterprise migrations actually happen.
