Top SchoolJoseph Kroesche is an experienced embedded systems consultant and technical leader with 13+ years in firmware and hardware-focused roles, currently consulting from Austin, Texas. He has guided teams and shipped production microcontroller firmware across startups, research institutions and large semiconductor firms, including work on flight computers for space missions and MCU libraries at Silicon Labs and TI. Comfortable with hands-on hardware debug through low-level driver and board design, he excels at turning incomplete requirements into practical, testable products on 3–6 month horizons. A consensus builder and execution driver, he prefers small, high-performing teams where he can span firmware, host software, and product requirements. Less obvious: his career includes mission-critical spaceflight controllers and long-running collaborations that bridged marketing, tools strategy and production engineering.
