Senior🎓
Top SchoolJoseph Lebeau is a Senior Software Engineer with nine years of experience building resilient, full-stack systems and currently focused on network observability at Kentik after shaping cloud-native APIs and real-time data streaming at Capital One. He blends frontend and backend expertise—React, GraphQL, Node/TypeScript, Ruby on Rails—with AWS architecture skills (AWS Certified Solutions Architect) to deliver high-performance, well-instrumented services. Joseph has led cross-team initiatives to reduce technical debt and standardize extensible domain solutions, pairing hands-on coding with pragmatic technical leadership. His background spans startups to enterprise, with product-facing releases, test-driven development, and frequent client collaboration. Outside engineering he brings an unusual legal and public-speaking pedigree—experience as lead counsel in jury trials and moot court wins—which surfaces in his persuasive communication and disciplined approach to complex problems. Based in Denver, he balances code with hobbies like golf, vinyl records, and cooking.
