Summary
👤
SeniorJoseph Mutua is a software engineer with eight years of hands-on experience building full-stack web and mobile applications, currently focused on developer work at Scrums.com and mentoring at Moringa School. He has shipped cashless payment solutions using Node.js, TypeScript, React, and React Native and has re-platformed frontend applications to improve performance and maintainability. Joseph combines API and backend experience in Python/Django with strong frontend skills in React and Vue, enabling end-to-end delivery from UI to services. As a senior technical mentor he pairs teaching, coaching, and data-driven student interventions with product work, which sharpens his ability to translate complex concepts into usable features. Based in Nairobi, he brings practical startup and education-sector experience across projects that prioritize accessibility, scalability, and operational readiness. A lifelong learner with credentials from Flatiron School, he quietly elevates teams and products—hence his succinct Github mantra: "Elevate!"
