Top SchoolJoseph Phillips is a senior network engineer with 12 years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating complex WAN/LAN infrastructures across government, enterprise, and manufacturing environments. Based in Huntsville, he currently leads technical strategy and sales engineering at Agile Information Services while also supporting critical WAN links for NASA’s International Space Station through SAIC. His background blends practical network administration (Cisco switching, routing, firewalls, VOIP) with formal training in cyber security and certifications including CCNA, VCP4, and MCTS. Joseph has repeatedly moved between hands-on engineering and leadership—guiding vendor partnerships, shaping company direction, and delivering solutions for distributed, multi-site operations. He brings a strong operational mindset from managing large-scale customer service networks at LG and education district deployments, and an unusual depth in mission-critical WAN support that complements his security-focused academic track.
