Senior🎓
Top SchoolJoseph Renolayan is a senior software engineer based in Denver with six years of experience building full-stack JavaScript applications and developer tooling. He specializes in React, Node.js, GraphQL, and Apollo, and is the creator of arteMetrics, a cloud-based GraphQL/Apollo performance monitoring tool with an accompanying npm package and dashboard. At Spectrum and previous startups he has driven front-end migrations to React, introduced TypeScript and Redux-based state management, and implemented secure auth flows using JWT and bcrypt. He has hands-on experience migrating SQL backends to GraphQL, deploying containerized apps on AWS, and crafting interactive data visualizations with D3 and Chart.js. A practical problem-solver, he pairs developer ergonomics (Playground integrations, Apollo tooling) with production concerns like security and payment gateways. Outside typical engineering work, his background in audio engineering suggests a strong attention to signal-level detail and real-time system behavior.
